【摘要】:Thesetestmethodscanbeusedforresearchorforqualitycontroltocharacterizeisocyanatesusedinpolyurethaneproducts.1.1Thesetestmethodsmeasuretheisocyanatecontentofaromaticisocyanatesusedaspolyurethanerawmaterials.1.1.1TestMethodA8212;Unheatedtoluene-dibutylaminedeterminesthetoluenediisocyanatecontent,theamineequivalentandtheisocyanatecontentofrefinedtoluene-2,4-diisocyanateandtoluene-2,6-diisocyanate,ormixturesofthetwo.Otherisomers,ifpresent,willbeincludedinthedetermination.Thistestmethodmayalsobeappliedtootherisocyanatesofsuitablereactivityandsolubility.1.1.2TestMethodB8212;Heatedtoluene-dibutylaminedeterminestheamineequivalentandtheisocyanatecontentofcrudeormodifiedisocyanatesderivedfromtoluenediisocyanate,methylenedi-(4-phenylisocyanate)andpolymeric(methylenephenylisocyanate).1.1.3TestMethodC8212;Unheatedtrichlorobenzene-toluene-dibutylaminedeterminestheamineequivalentandtheisocyanatecontentofcrudeormodifiedisocyanatesderivedfromtoluenediisocyanate,methylene-di-(4-phenylisocyanate)andpolymeric(methylenephenylisocyanate).1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;MethodCofthistestmethodisequivalenttoMethodBofISO14896.
