【摘要】:ThispartofISO4869specifiesamethodformeasuringtheinsertionlossofear-mufftypehearingprotectorsusinganacoustictestfixture.Themethodisapplicabletotheinvestigationofproductionspreadsofperformanceaspartoftypeapprovalorcertificationprocedures,andtotheinvestigationofthechangeofperformancewithage.Itisintendedtoensurethatear-muffhearingprotectorsamplessubmittedforsubjectivetestingofattenuationaccordingtoISO4869-1haveperformancestypicalofthetype.ThemethodspecifiedinthispartofISO4869isnotapplicableasthebasictestfortypeapproval.Performancedataobtainedbythismethodarenotintendedtobequotedasrepresentingthereal-earsoundattenuationofanear-muff,northeprotectionprovidedbytheear-muff.Forthetestingofcertainear-muffs(suchasthoseattachedtosafetyhelmets,orthosewithcontouredearcupsorear-cushions,orsupra-auralear-muffs),theproceduredescribedinthispartofISO4869mightneedtobemodified.
