【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletoprotectiveclothingforworkersexposedtoheat.Theclothingconsistsofoutergarmentsmadefromflexiblematerialtoprotectspecificpartsofthebody.Hoodsandgaitersareincludedbutallothertypesofprotectionforthehead,handsandfeetareexcluded.ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestheperformancerequirementsandtestmethodsforprotectiveclothingmaterialsandgivesdesignrecommendationsfortheclothingwherenecessary.ProtectiveclothingcomplyingwiththisInternationalStandardisintendedtoprotectworkersagainstbriefcontactwithflameandagainstatleastonetypeofheat.Theheatmaybeintheformofconvectiveheat,radiantheat,largemoltenmetalsplashes,oracombinationoftheseheathazards.ProtectiveclothingcomplyingwiththisInternationalStandardmaynotbeentirelysuitableforcertaintypesofactivitycarriedoutbyfirefightersandwelders.
