【摘要】:Thistestmethodindicatesapproximatechangeinpropertiesofasphaltduringconventionalhot-mixingatabout302x00B0;F(150x00B0;C)asindicatedbyviscosityandotherrheologicalmeasurements.Ityieldsaresiduewhichapproximatestheasphaltconditionasincorporatedinthepavement.Ifthemixingtemperaturediffersappreciablyfromthe302x00B0;F(150x00B0;C)level,moreorlesseffectonpropertieswilloccur.Thistestmethodalsocanbeusedtodeterminemasschange,whichisameasureofasphaltvolatility.1.1Thistestmethodisintendedtomeasuretheeffectofheatandaironamovingfilmofsemi-solidasphalticmaterials.Theeffectsofthistreatmentaredeterminedfrommeasurementsoftheselectedpropertiesoftheasphaltbeforeandafterthetest.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
